My son once described me as a musical, magical, happy person.

I am a positive and forward thinking person, always ready to learn something new.

Advocacy

Advocacy is a big part of my life. I volunteer with New Friends New Life, an organization I deeply admire for its work helping women reclaim their lives after being trafficked. I am also honored to be an active Board Member for Silhouettes of Success - a mentorship program for young business professionals.

I also spent a decade supporting bereaved parents after losing my own daughter to childhood cancer. During that time, I founded the Princess Alexa Foundation, which celebrated the childhood spirit of seriously ill children through dress-up and play.

On a very different (but equally joyful) note, I’m also a devoted Jane Austen fan—so much so that I now serve as the marketing board member for the North Texas chapter of the Jane Austen Society of North America.

Before business, before analytics, there was always music. I’ve been a singer for as long as I can remember—performing in community theaters, opera companies, and small ensembles. I also play the piano and have composed and produced songs, often as a way to process the emotions that run too deep for words: grief, love, longing, joy.

Music has always been my refuge, my first language. I once read a quote as a young girl—“Music is the universal language of mankind.” It’s stayed with me ever since.

In many ways, my love of music isn’t separate from my work—it’s the foundation. I’m always listening for the signals, the story beneath the surface, the truth that brings people together. Music taught me to feel deeply and connect honestly—and that has shaped every part of who I am today.

Music-the heartbeat of it all
